These photographs were made on a Cooper Union alumni tour of the park under construction. The tour was led by Gina Pollara, the executive director of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park.

The weather was damp, but atmospheric and beautiful. I took these snapshots, somewhat randomly, as we walked along.

The Four Freedoms Park was designed by Louis Kahn in 1973 shortly before his death. Due to the financial condition of New York at the time, the project was not implemented. It is now being built to Kahn's original design.

I have also photographed Kahn's Trenton bath house, which can be seen here.
