Philip Johnson (1906), a friend and admirer of Oud, has designed an homage to Oud. His installation forms a bridge between two worlds: Europe and America, the 1920s, and the present. Johnson's design was the basis for the Oud restropective designed by Marijke van der Wijst. --from the NAi brochure
